WE ARE THE SKATEROOM. A B Corp certified social enterprise that partners with emerging and world-renowned artists on bespoke skateboard art collections, to sponsor social skate and education projects in at-risk communities around the globe.

WE WERE FOUNDED IN 2014. By Charles-Antoine Bodson, a former gallerist who, after seeing the immense work of the infant Skateistan project in Afghanistan, decided to sell a portion of his collection to fund their second skate school in Cambodia. THE SKATEROOM was born.

IT’S BEEN QUITE A JOURNEY. In the past eight years, we’ve raised over 1,5-million dollars for social skate projects around the world. That’s 35 projects, across 50 artistic collaborations. Over 200 editions. And every customer who has ever bought one has actively improved the lives of young people all over the planet through skate & education programs.

WE’VE SEEN THE WORLD. And we’ve seen the world change. More businesses are waking up to the truth. We need a better way to do business. A brighter future for consumerism is possible, when we work together to create ethical, sustainable and engaged practices.
